Using Unreel

Unreel is a free tool that turns videos into screenshots and transcripts. You can use it for personal or commercial purposes, as long as you follow these terms and the law.

Your content

You are responsible for the videos you process. Only use videos you own or have permission to use, and respect the terms of the sites you take them from (including YouTube). Unreel doesn’t claim any rights over your content.

How it works

Screenshots are created in your browser. If you use the automatic transcript, the audio is sent to our transcription provider to turn it into text. See the Privacy page for details.

No warranty

Unreel is provided “as is”. Transcripts are generated automatically and may contain mistakes. We may change or stop the service at any time.

Limits

Don’t abuse the service (for example, automated mass requests), and don’t use it to break the law or anyone’s rights.
